Who I Am
I grew up with a love for dance and a desire to explore the world. Each summer brought me to new places and introduced me to new ways of life. It kept my mind open and empowered me to find my place. From age three, dance has kept me in touch with my surrounding environment and allowed me to recognize the importance of creativity.
My desire to determine how I will contribute to the world became more clear as I finished my studies at the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Strategic Communication, focusing on Public Relations and a minor in Dance. I will bring awareness and new perspectives to audiences across cultures, ideologies, and systems of belief.
I am a strategist. I have an eye for understanding the brands and clients I work with. My enthusiasm to gain cultural knowledge and confidence placing myself in new environments allows me to appreciate the consumer. The optimism and conscious mindset I bring to my work gives me the ability to embrace consumers as they navigate a world full of brands. This leads me to identify new opportunities where companies can build, grow, and succeed.
I am a creative. Studying dance has opened my mind to appreciating the beauty in originality. Telling a story through body movement rather than words emboldens the message to resonate with audiences emotionally and personally. It gives them room to use their imagination and interpretation, connecting the message to their own experiences. Dance empowers me to think as an artist and give the public content that is “flowering on freshness” as Bill Bernbach says.
I believe public relations has the capability to open perspectives and introduce audiences to a world of colors. My experiences have taught me that humans flourish in diversity. As a PR specialist, I will vitalize consumers and enliven companies.
